Air Support Unit

Since 1997, Lancashire Constabulary’s Air Support Unit has been directly involved in the arrest of 2954 persons, helped with 109 casualty evacuations, found 214 missing persons, recovered 321 vehicles and racked up over 7770 flying hours.

Purchasing and Contracts Section

The Purchasing and Contracts Section, is responsible for arranging contracts for the supply of goods and services to Lancashire Constabulary and, in some instances, to other police forces in the North West Region, which comprises Greater Manchester Police, Merseyside Police, North Wales Police, Cheshire Constabulary and Cumbria Constabulary.
